Tree Faces

Have you ever been walking in the woods and had that curious sensation of being watched?  I have been seeing tree faces everywhere recently! I have been taking pictures of them, drawing into them, and writing about them, all as a kind of journaling-meditation. It is an “anthropomorphization” of the woods for sure, and makes a woodland walk a less solitary activity!

Sometimes they are not faces, but gestures, like this first  one: Come on!

come one!

Or this frowning young cyclops, an Oh! of surprise, and a disapproving frown:

kid OOO frown
